The A50 carbon dioxide monitor provides audio/visual alarms should there be a leak which exceeds permissible safety levels such as those defined in EH40. The unit does not require any calibration unless local regulations mandate it.
If you are also using nitrogen you may also be interested in a dual A50 which contains both a CO2 and O2 sensor. We also offer the A50M which consists of 2 x CO2 sensor units and one combined repeater - this is most commonly used in larger areas or in cellars which have a separate cold store.
We offer several variations of this product so you can build your own to your specific requirements - contact us for more information. For example, you can add one or two relay outputs which could initiate an extractor fan or shut down a gas supply.
Standards such as EH40 and TUV in Europe mandate that employees and members of the public are not exposed to potentially dangerous levels of CO2 as it is a highly toxic gas in relatively small quantities. The A50 is an affordable, easy to operate carbon dioxide monitor and is ideal for ensuring safety in areas where the gas is piped or stored such as in a cellar or fast food restaurant.
The main sensor unit is to be wall-mounted in the area highlighted as a risk. It is also supplied with a repeater which can be placed at the entrance to warn anyone entering the room of an alarm before entering.
The A50 carbon dioxide monitor is commonly found in: pub cellars, fast food restaurants, cafes, breweries, wineries, nightclubs, kitchens, sports stadiums and leisure centres.
