Analox at ArabLab 2015 : The Expo highlights

Last week saw the 2015 ArabLab kick off in Dubai at the International Exhibition Centre. We attended, along with 108 other companies from the UK, exhibiting a range of equipment and services directed at the laboratory industry.

By Sunday evening, the exhibition hall was filled with walkways of red carpets and stands of varying sizes for the 926 exhibitors from 58 countries on show. Germany was by far the dominant country of origin with 163 companies.

Our main products on show for delegates were the O2NE+ and A50, these products are specifically designed to monitor gas for safety within laboratory environments. We also had the highly anticipated ACG+ on show, which can continually monitor the clarity of compressed air, primarily in hospitals where medical gas is used, detecting any contaminants produced from VOC’s plus it also monitors for O2, CO2, CO and dewpoint.

The ACG+ proved very interesting for delegates as they could see the benefit of being able to monitor several different gasses within one piece of equipment that can be both wall mountable and portable, providing flexibility for the user.

Over the four days, we spoke to delegates from all over the world, positively, the majority specifically sought out our stand in order to introduce themselves and find out more about our products.

The final show report issued that 9,415 visitors were registered to have attended ArabLab this year from 101 different countries, with Tuesday proving the most popular day where 3,196 visitors attended throughout the day.

A full show analysis will be undertaken shortly, but we felt like it was a great exhibition to attend and a lot of solid business connections were made. It proved a great platform for Analox to showcase some of our products to a growing market, with an evidently increasing interest in gas safety within the laboratory environment.
