NLS Days 2016

Analox Sensor Technology will be at Nordic Life Science Days

Analox Sensor Technology will be exhibiting and speaking at Nordic Life Science Days from 14 to 15 September.

The annual conference is being held at Stockholm Waterfront Congress Centre in Sweden and provides many opportunities to network with peers, potential partners and investors associated with the life science sector.

This year Nordic Life Science Days encompasses conference sessions, panel discussions, company presentations, exhibitions, face-to-face meetings and unique receptions.

Becca Dodds, Sales Manager Asia Pacific, Brazil & Northern Europe, and Simon Lunt, Sales and Marketing Director, will be exhibiting at Booth 20 during the event with a range of Analox’s gas monitoring products for oxygen (O2) and carbon dioxide (CO2) that will help prevent serious incidents in a laboratory and comply with applicable legislation including EH40.

Any laboratory using inert gases such as argon (Ar), helium (He), nitrogen (N2) or liquid nitrogen (LN2) need to consider monitoring the levels of O2 in their working area.

These gases displace the O2 in the atmosphere, and just a drop of 0.5% can start to cause harmful effects.

CO2 is also used as a laboratory gas in cryogenic applications, sample transportation and cell culture. Normal air contains a harmless level of CO2 (0.04%), but any leaks from concentrated sources may create a hazardous atmosphere.

To highlight these dangers, Becca will be delivering a presentation, Breathe Easy: How to reduce the risks associated with the use of gases in your lab. This will cover the legislation and guidance on atmosphere monitoring.

They will also be available to discuss how Analox can provide the best gas monitoring solutions for your laboratories.

Analox will be showcasing a wide range of products at Nordic Life Science Days.

The O2NE+ is a fixed O2 depletion monitor ideal for use where there is a threat of a potential leak or build-up of an inert gas such as N2, Ar or He.

Safe Ox and O2NE+

Safe-Ox+ and O2NE+

It has a long life O2 sensor, two low audio/visual alarms, easy to install, minimal maintenance, optional relays and 4-20mA.

The Safe-Ox+ is a fixed ambient air O2 enrichment and depletion monitor for use in monitoring enriched O2 in a laboratory environment.

It also has a long O2 sensor life, one low and one high audio/visual alarm, easy to install, minimal maintenance, optional relays and 4-20mA.

The Ax60 is a wall mountable CO2 detector with multiple location options for alarm and sensor units connected to a central display. It has a CO2 range from 0.1% to 5%, three alarm set points, low maintenance, TWA monitoring, optional relays and up to four alarms per sensor, to a maximum of eight alarms per system.
