We began developing our newest dual gas detection monitor, the Ax60+, in the summer of 2016. An evolution of our Ax60 carbon dioxide monitor, the Ax60+ offers modular gas detection at a competitive price point.
The Ax60+ – dual gas detection across a wide range of industries
Several combinations of gas monitoring are available with the Ax60+, with the first already available in carbon dioxide (CO2), soon to be followed by the release of an oxygen (O2) option, allowing for a flexible, multi-gas monitoring system.
This new functionality will allow you to monitor carbon dioxide and oxygen concurrently with scope to detect nitrogen and argon leaks. For example, if you use both nitrogen and carbon dioxide in your pub to dispense your beer, it is essential to monitor both CO2 and O2 so if there is a leak of either gas, you, your staff and your customers are protected.
The great thing about the Ax60+ is that not only does it have the ability to monitor multiple gases, but it also allows for multiple placement of alarm and sensor units. So whether you need a compact or a complex solution, we have you covered.
With audio-visual alarms and changeable alarm set points, the Ax60+ is fully customisable to suit your needs. Not only that, it has up to a five-year sensor and electronics warranty (depending on the final gas monitoring solution you choose). We’re truly proud of it.
Dual gas detection – what’s happening next?
The Ax60 carbon dioxide monitor has now been superseded by the Ax60+. This means that when you purchase our best-selling carbon dioxide detector, you will still be able to monitor for CO2, but you will have the built-in option to monitor additional gases in the same unit in the not-too-distant future.
The option to monitor both CO2 and O2 at the same time will be available in the spring. Although you can pre-order your dual monitor now, please be aware that due to bespoke development procedures our current lead times are quite lengthy.
Other gas monitoring variants will be available in the future, and we will keep you updated on what we’re working on next, however, if you have a need for a particular gas combination, let us know and we can see if we can prioritise it.
