Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Gas Detection
Contact us today with your requirement and we’d be delighted to discuss how we can help you solve your specific carbon dioxide gas detection challenge.
Carbon dioxide (CO2) is widely used in the beverage and hospitality industry and found in breweries, wineries, pubs, bars and walk-in coolers, hotels and restaurants as a means of carbonating and delivering drinks. It is also naturally produced as a by-product of the fermentation process.
Why is CO2 dangerous?
CO2 is heavier than air and highly toxic, it can easily gather in potentially lethal concentrations, especially in confined spaces. Our fixed and portable carbon dioxide gas detectors are recognised as certified safety monitors in the beverage and hospitality industry.
Our gas detectors include our Ax60+, a multi-gas monitor with customizable alarm set points and a TWA alarm, which can be used to detect CO2 as well as other gases. The Ax60+k is a smaller gas monitor, ideal for micro breweries or kiosk restaurants and the Aspida, a handheld portable monitor which checks for CO2 and O2.
